Park Board funding
The Park Board has no budget of its own. Its activity is funded through these General Fund department lines in the city's adopted 2026 budget, fiscal year 2026, expenses. The summary document is headed "Draft December 4, 2025," and the council adopted the final levy built on it on December 22, 2025 (Resolution 2025-15), so these lines are presented as lines in the city's adopted 2026 budget.
- Rec Park$1,011,346
- Golf$264,483
- Boat Harbor$92,256
- City Parks$45,197

What it decided
Park Board rewrites the 2027 Rec Park rates: tents +3%, everything else +5%
The board set aside the Parks Manager’s flat 3% increase and rewrote it in the room: tent sites +3%; daily and weekly RV sites, seasonal sites and the marina +5%, so the biggest rigs and boats carry more of the raise. Winter storage also went up 5%, and the board created a new second-row premium category for 31 former seasonal sites, at +$10 a night.
