Two land use requests took their first step at the Cook County Planning Commission on October 14, and both left with unanimous recommendations. The County Board approved both two weeks later, on October 27.

The commission recommended the County Board deny Vertical Bridge’s conditional use permit amendment, and instead let the applicant pursue wetland sequencing. The commission recommends; the County Board decides.
