COOK COUNTY TOWNSHIP
Tofte Town Board
One of Cook County's three organized townships, in the west end of the county. The town board oversees the Tofte Fire Department and the Tofte Rescue Squad, the township cemetery, the Birch Grove Community Center, and the town hall and park. The town levy is set by the voters at the annual town meeting each March.
Posted minutes on the town website run through March 12, 2026. Minutes exist through at least May 14, 2026 (later agendas approve them), but the April to October 2026 minutes documents were not posted when this record was built, while the town revises its online archive.
