COOK COUNTY
Cook County Public Health and Human Services Board
Administers all public health and human services programs in the county: social services, public health, behavioral health, and economic assistance. The board sets PHHS policy, approves expenditures, monitors agency outcomes, and oversees the PHHS Director. Its members are the five county commissioners plus two community members.
