North Shore Health Board of Directors
Governs the Cook County Hospital District, organized in 1990: North Shore Health's 16 bed critical access hospital, 37 bed care center, home health agency, and ambulance service in Grand Marais. The board sets the district tax levy, approves budgets, and hires and evaluates the CEO and Administrator. Five directors, elected by district. Election note: Districts 1, 3, and 5 are on the November 3, 2026 ballot, with District 3 contested; this roster is as of the January 2026 organization.
