Cook County Board of Adjustment
The county's land use appeals body. It hears and decides variance requests for relief from the Cook County Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance 37) and related ordinances, and hears appeals of zoning administration decisions. Its variance decisions are final at the county level, subject to court review. Its five members are drawn from the County Planning Commission.
